Book Review // The Perfect Couple

Rating: 4.5/5

Synopsis:
"It's Nantucket wedding season, also known as summer-the sight of a bride racing down Main Street is as common as the sun setting at Madaket Beach. The Otis-Winbury wedding promises to be an event to remember: the groom's wealthy parents have spared no expense to host a lavish ceremony at their oceanfront estate.

But it's going to be memorable for all the wrong reasons after tragedy strikes: a body is discovered in Nantucket Harbor just hours before the ceremony-and everyone in the wedding party is suddenly a suspect. As Chief of Police Ed Kapenash interviews the bride, the groom, the groom's famous mystery-novelist mother, and even a member of his own family, he discovers that every wedding is a minefield-and no couple is perfect." -Amazon.com

Review:
Add this to your beach book list! I haven’t read a ton from Elin Hilderbrand, but I was so surprised how much I enjoyed this book! Elin is an expert of Nantucket and giving us commoners a sneak peek into how the elite live. At the surface, you think this is just a book of a high profile wedding with a bucket of family secrets just waiting to be released. But the underlining plot was a murder mystery of one of a member of the  wedding party! It really hits all angles and for me, it was the perfect book. The writing was fantastic. Let me know if you’ve read it!
